Description: Numerous specimens was observed on both planarian species of this locality [genus Polycelis and Schmidtea]. This picture was taken on surface of living Schmidtea sp. specimen under cover glass. Reference of this parasite was taken from work M. Rataj, P. Vd’ačný - Living morphology and molecular phylogeny of oligohymenophorean ciliates associated with freshwater turbellarians - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31120041. Note they are visible also on living planarian on macro picture.
